I am writing a program that requires gadgets to be placed into the Title bar
of a window, but the RKM does not talk about such an item. It does say that
you pick the location relative to the window, but my question is if I choose
a location that will place the gadget into the title bar and then render it,
will it show up? What happens when I ShowTitle() and my string is large; will
it overwrite my gadget? What if I wish to place my own gadget where the
close window gadget would be?
Could anyone post a small example of this type of gadget creation?

The main thing is to be sure to set the flag TOPBORDER in th proper
field of the gadget.
Also, you might want to place the gadget AHEAD of the Intuition system
gadgets.
I wouldn't advise placing it "over" the close gadget.
And, the trickier you get, the more likely your program will need to
be revised for future versions of the system.
The look of the title bar is one area which is receiving heavy revision.
