Don't be too hard on the poor LA36's... Sure they are big and noisy, but they are a far sight better than the old ASR-33's that they replaced. The new DECwriters are as small, reliable and easy to maintain as any on the market... I'd venture to say that the LA100 is faster and more reliable than the EPSON. Any EPSON.
