I have just finished installing an A2286 AT bridgeboard in my Ami 2500 and am trying to get it set up to give me a color PC window when I use the pcwindow command in cli. However when I go into the color mode the way the manual tells me to using my newly installed software on my hard drive (including going onto the PC and giving it a mode co80 command to change the configuration) and try to open the color window, the screen goes black and falls into some bizzare scrolling of white lines. When I do all this on the install disk provided with the board, all is fine. WHAT IS GOING ON???? Am I missing something in my startup sequence (where I do give the binddrivers and give the pcdrive command to set up my amiga side PC hard drive) or is something like Virusx or Gomf getting in somewhere it shouldn't? Or do the install programs fail to install all the programs and files needed for the color display? The documentation on this part of the PC board is a little sparse, so any comments would be extreemly helpful. PLEASE respond to my by mail.
