Is there anyone out there that can tell me of a way to open and close the shutters on the X-specs 3D glasses from Amigabasic? Peter_Warren_Lee@cup.portal.com

The X-Specs library included in the developer's package from Haitex will allow you to control the glasses from any language. The needed BMAP is in there too. I think this package is almost ready for release. Call Haitex at (803) 881-7518 and maybe they can get you a copy. The bit for joystick fire button is the shutter control. (Was it bit 6 or bit 7 in $BFE001). First you set define this bit (pin) OUTPUT by corresponding control bit. If I remember correctly, a 1 means right lens open, left shut. And quess what a 0 means ;-). Because I don't have the glasses (only tried the programs with SEGA-glasses and a self-built interface) I'm not sure if the X-specs interface needs updating every frame or so. It's possible that it turns both lenses open if the signal stays same for some time. Karri P.S. The effect is really great, btw.
