I am trying to do simple animation/graphics on the Amiga. The demo programs that came with my Benchmark Modula-2 package are serving as learning tools. Unfortunately I don't have the extra libraries that come with the compiler, which some of the demos require. Many of the demo programs use a module by the name of "SimpleDBuf". In it are the procedures "CreateDBufScreen", "DeleteDBufScreen", and "FlipDBufScreen". These procedure look pretty handy to me. I've been told that animation on the amiga is sometimes done by drawing an object on a screen and then flipping the screen to the front. I thought perhaps that's what these procedures were doing, but being an unexperienced programmer on the amiga I haven't found a way to reconstruct them. :-( Could somebody either explain how these procedure might work and give me some hints on reproducing them or give me their own personal hack? Any general tips on doing graphics would be appreciated. Thanks!!! Internet: gregm@csd4.csd.uwm.edu Bitnet: gregm%csd4.csd.uwm.edu@INTERBIT Uucp: gregm@uwmcsd4.uucp Name : Greg Mumm
