Hello, I am a professional developer with programs out on several other 68000 based machines and have been following the Amiga closely for some time now. Anyway, I like the direction that CBM seems to be going and the press attention the the Amiga is finally getting so I finally took the plunge and ordered an Amiga through the devlopers program. I need to choose a C development platform for the Amiga. The quality of code produced is of primary importance, debugging capabilities are also very important as is the quality of the standalone assembler. I have used(and like) Manx products for other machines, but have had enough problems with them that I would like to hear opinions on all the available options before I make a selection. There only seem to be two real players in the C compiler game for the Amiga: Manx and Lattice. I would like to hear the opinions of Amiga users of these packages. What you like about each package and what you don't like(all packages have good and bad points). Thanks for all your help, Bob Luneski bluneski@pogo.WV.TEK.COM Genie: B.LUNESKI1 -- ____________________________________________________________________________ Bob Luneski Diamond Back Support Hotline: bluneski@pogo.WV.TEK.COM Genie: B.LUNESKI1
