dave@cs.arizona.edu (Dave Schaumann) (05/03/90)
I would like to ask two questions: First: I was looking at the current Amiga World (nice job on the 3000 :), and I saw in a GVP add for the "Impact A2000 SCSI + 8 controller". What confuses me is that it claims the SCSI controller has "full Overscan support". I know SCSI is an I/O device controller (right?) And I thought overscan was a video display mode. Why would one have anything to do with the other? Second: I have an A500, which I would like to expand (more memory and a hard disk) as funds allow. One thing I am considering is the Subsystem 500 made by Pacific Peripherals. If anyone has any experience with this product, I would appriciate any feedback (good or bad). Thanx in advance.
