Please ask this ASAP as someone here really wants his new printer to work with his Amiga 1000... I have a problem, and in the tradition of the comp.sys.amiga I thought that someone surely must know the answer to this. I have a new Epson LQ-510 24-pin printer. It is very nice. I also have an Amiga 1000 with WB 1.3. I would like them to talk nicely so that I could get the graphics/24-pin text quality out of this beast. The problem is that the "EpsonQ" driver shipped with WB 1.3 does not drive the printer correctly. There are two 8 switch DIPs in the fron of the printer, but I have tried everything that makes reasonable sense to me to get them (the Amiga and the LQ-510) to work together, but no luck. I need help... Can someone PLEASE send me info on how to get the LQ-510 to work with the 1000? If it is a change of the DIP switches, great! If it is a change in the software then not too bad, please send me information on how to get at the good, working driver. All the help anyone can give me is really appreciated. Thanks a lot, Bret...
