["Who needs OS/2?" Byte cover] This may be a bit late, or it may have been reported already since I had my USENET access brutally cut off for a month. But anyway.. . . There seems to be a problem with QuarterBack and Beta 5 of 2.0. After installing the new release (which wipes out everything), then restoring my own files, I noticed a whole bunch were munged. The restored copy of Quarterback itself had an extra block of garbage pre-pended to it, and another file (Diskmaster) had 5 extra blocks interleaved with it. Hey, I'm for integration like most people, but NOT ON MY HARDDISK! The files on the backup disks were clean, and I was able to extract them one-by-one successfully. I called this in the CCS and it was the first time they had heard of it. So far I haven't heard anything back from them. So has anyone else had this problem? This was on a 3000.
