I HAVE AN AMIGA 2500/30 WITH THE AT BRIDGEBOARD. I'M TRYING TO SET UP A VIRTUAL DISK ON THE IBM SIDE USING 1MB OF AMIGA RAM. I USE "JLINK E: RAM:VD C:/1000" TO SET UP THE VIRTUAL DISK. ALL GOES WELL. I CAN EVEN COPY TO E: WHILE IN MS-DOS. PROBLEM ENCOUNTERED: WHEN I TRY TO UNLINK USING THE /U OPTION (WHICH IS SUPPOSED TO BREAK THE LINK) I RECEIVE AN ERROR MESSAGE THAT THE OPTION IS ILLEGAL. HELP!! WILL SOMEONE GIVE ME AN EXAMPLE ON HOW TO UNLINK. THANKS, ROD

Example: A> JLINK E: /u And even though you are not asking this, there is another small problem (bug?) with AREAD and AWRITE. Remember to ALWAYS include the /b switch. Example: A> AREAD RAM:AMIGAFILE PCFILE /b I hope that helps. -Chris ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- /// Christian Castor : (318) 232-2045 (VOICE) XXXXXXX No Postage /// Compuserve: 73030,2734 X X Required \\\/// PeopleLink: Chrisc X 25c X If Mailed In \\\/ INet: castorca@ea.usl.edu XXXXXXX The US -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
