If an amiga 3000 say, had an '040 card in the cpu slot (from replies to my last letter I now know what this really entails) the '030 becomes dormant, RIGHT? Is it possible to have boths cpus working at once (the old divide and conquer technique!) via a parallel compiler? Is this posible under the current OS or would a new OS need to be developed. Doug barton@latcs1.oz.au BTW: This isn't the post I intended to post! I have the original back home still on ami!!! Email me if you are interested

The Zorro III (A3000) bus supports the necessary signals, there is no O/S support (yet?!?) -- W. John Guineau guineau@wjg.enet.dec.com Digital Equipment Corporation Marlboro MA. 01752
