[comp.sys.amiga.tech] Using A2232 and serial printer on A3000

I just received my A3000, with an A2232 7 port serial card (yeah!), and I'm
having trouble getting it to print to a serial printer. The printer is in the
Amiga 3000 serial port, and I have a modem in the first A2232 DIN connector.
Whenever I attempt to write to the printer, it fails. I know that it isn't a
problem with the connector, because when I run JRCOMM, I can use the serial
device unit 1, and output shows up on the printer.

I suspect it may be a problem with the A2232 software. It appears to have a
1.3 style preferences, and I am running 2.0. Also, it seems to me that the
printer preferences should support a serial device unit number. Is there an
AmigaOS 2.0 version of the A2232 software?

I tried changing my serial configuration from RTS/CTS to X-On/X-Off, and I am
now able to use my printer. I'll have to borrow a breakout box from work and
try to figure out what's going on, since I was using it successfully with the
printer hooked up to a Zenith terminal. However, I still want to know if
there's a version of the A2232 installation disk for AmigaOS 2.0.
