Last night I installed setcpu V1.6, replacing v1.5. I re-booted my
system and, to my exterme dismay, my floppy drives started to click!!!
Checking the doc, it looks as if setcpu 1.6 no longer does a noclick
patch.
"Well". I thought, "I will just install some other 'no click' program".
Silly me!!!
While, several of the 3rd party 'no click' softwares avaliable DID
stop the clicking, NONE of them were compatible with the Cross-Dos
TDPatch13 program, which is required for v4.0 of Cross-Dos.
Either Cross-Dos, or the 'no click' program would complain, not work,
and/or Guru.
Does anyone know of a combination of setcpu 1.6, TDPatch13 (v4.0), and
a 'no click' program that all works together?
