I have a 512K Amiga 500 with the Revision 6A motherboard.. the kind that uses
four 256Kx4-100ns chips for its 512K, includes space for four more 256Kx4's,
and has the Fatter Agnus chip installed. I'd like to upgrade this board to
512K by adding four more 256Kx4-100's, fix the Fatter Agnus for 1 meg Chip
RAM, and hopefully retain the use of the A501 expansion slot (tho that's
somewhat optional). Does anyone have the plans for making this upgrade?
A call to Commodore was of no help, and I really don't want to have to pay
the local Amiga shop to do the job (they're rather busy moving to a larger
facility anyhow).
Any help is appreciated.
