In the Amiga owners manual, tucked away in one of the many appendices, is a list of ALL the Ansi commands .. which the printer device ( prt: ) is meant to support. Recently, I had a query from somebody who'd been trying to use the listed set page length and set perforation skip commands to no avail - I've tried them myself, and they don't seem to work ( in fact LOTS of the listed commands do nothing ), both with the 1.3 EpsonX driver, and the 1.3 NEC_pinwriter driver. I was wondering if anyone knew exactly _which_ commands are supported by the printer drivers supplied with WB1.3?? ( lack of the pagelen command means you can't get decently paginated output without resorting to sending thru a filter prog first - I thought the whole idea of the printer handler was to make that uneccesary ? ) ----------------------------------------------------------- | o John Davis - CHEM194@canterbury.ac.nz o | | o (Depart)mental Programmer,Chemistry Department o | | o University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand o | | o o | | o co-sysop AmigaINFO BBS,1200/2400 baud CCITT, o | | o 24 hours a day, ph NZ +3-3371-531 o |
