HELP!! I'm almost completed putting together a Palomax interface. I can even get the drive to format and read verify. My only problem is that I can't get the testhd3.1 or the hdconfig3.1 programs to recognize my hdparams file. Following is what the file looks like: ----------------------------Begin File---------------------------------------- cont F7FFE0 sect 17, 26 DH0: cyl 306 This is for the Seagate ST412 hds 4 rwi 306 pre 153 ecc 0 stp 2 res 2 DH1: cyl 650 hds 4 rwi 651 pre 651 ecc 0 stp 1 res 1 ---- Comments ----- First drive is ST412 Second Drive is on the way ------------------------------End File---------------------------------- If anyone could look at this, and point out any glaring errors in my file format--or (even better) mail me their hdparams file, it would make my beloved amiga very happy. -- <------------------------------------------------------------------------------> < FRANK BRANHAM | Currently at work on a VERY deranged > < Georgia Institute of Technology | RPG. This must EITHER be 17 OR 26 depending on your controller. ALSO the technical support is SUPERB at PALOMAX. Give Mr. Koehler a call. at 215-672-6815. NOTE: There are examples of HDParams files in the manual. Lindsay Markus
