[comp.sys.amiga.tech] Bridgeboard/USR HST 960+cps

galocy@ecn.purdue.edu (Keith B Galocy) (09/04/90)

I've called everyone and still can't seem to get a definite answer. I've got
an Amiga 2500/30 w/ the AT Bridge, a serial and VGA card, and 2 extra megs of
16-bit memory on the 2091. I'm trying to use my HST at 1700cps on the
bridgeboard like I do on the Amiga side. I'm trying to use a PC program
called PC Anywhere that allows remote access to PCs. Anyway, I've tried
3 different serial cards (they all worked at 9600+ on PCs--it's not the
UART chip) but I still get a serial overflow message. I need to know if
the AT board is capable... Is the bios slowing it? the bus? I made the
mistake of calling Commodore tech for an answer... Anyone try it or have
any suggestions or ideas (although chances are I've tried it). Thanks, any
help would be appreciated.
