[comp.sys.amiga.tech] HELP: UUCICO Breaks on my 3000

d87-khd@sm.luth.se (Karl-Gunnar Hultland) (09/25/90)

The program UUCICO (made by Matt Dillon) gives me
a system failure #80000003 after a while.

It connects and transfers files and before getty gets a chance to
unpack then the dreaded system failure (former known as GURU)
appears craching my machine.

I have a 3000/25/50 with kick 36.143 and WB 36.68.

1Mb Chipmem
1Mb Fast 32 bit
2Mb Fast 16 bit (I have tried without it too)

Anyone else having any problems with UUCICO?

There are two bugs, one of which has been fixed but not distributed over
the USENET. The first involves a crash during reception, and the second
after reception is complete just before running uuxqt. The first has
been found but the second is still unknown... it has something to do with
data comming in when at the same time uucico closes and reopens the
    serial device to drop DTR.

The next AmigaUUCP release is slated for December/January some time due
to my work load. Until then you might want to use the 1.05D UUCico.
