I want to know if it is possible to use a PC expansion card without using a xt/at bridgebord. Or do you have to use the dual-ported memory and write some pc stuf for the communication between the amiga and the expansion card. thanx ------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Ronald van Eijck R&R Software rrs@neabbs.uucp | | | | Some day soon I'll find a nice motto | -------------------------------------------------------------------------

There are a couple (several?) commercial products that do this. They
typically allow you to hook up a PC hard disk controller to your Amiga bus.
I haven't seen any PD versions though. :-( (NES sells a Zorro/ISA prototyping
board, so I'd be very happy if someone did a PD one.) :-) The interface to go
between the Amiga and the PC isn't too hard, but you have to write drivers
for any card you might want to plug in.
