I'm writting a suped up directory program in Lattice 5.04 'C'. I'm having a problem with the stack. When I used arrays, I had to set the stack high enough for it to run (I understand why.) So I decided to use CALLOC to create the memory I need so the user can leave the stack at 4k. When I run it under CALLOC, I STILL have to set the stack. Why? Isn't it dynamic therefor it uses heap space instead? Is CALLOC a dynamic memory accessor or do I have to go to rbrk whatever that is???
