[comp.sys.amiga.tech] External DF1: Floppy on an Amiga 2000

        Hi.  I'm looking for some way to convince my Amiga 2000 that
        its external drive is DF1: and not DF2:.  I know all about
        creating a fake mountlist entry and using ASSIGNDEV, but I
        want to do this in hardware, not in software.  If anyone has
        any idea how to do this, I would greatly appreciate hearing
        about it.

        I'm on BITNET, so please mail responses directly to me.   I
        don't have any way to read them otherwise.
