[comp.sys.amiga.tech] MIDI interface questions

I am interested in building a MIDI interface for my Amiga, and I have a
few questions:

1.  What kinds of MIDI interfaces are available for the Amiga?  I would like
    to build something that is compatible with an interface that is already
    available.

2.  Do these interfaces plug into the serial or parallel port?  And if they
    plug into the serial port, do they just convert the RS-232 signal to
    a MIDI signal through an opto-isolator?

Any information will be greatly appreciated.
