Oh foo.  Why should there be a larger software base for the 8080 than
for the 6502.  I would be willing to bet relatively large sums of
money that there are more 6502 systems in the world than 8080 (including
Z80) systems.  After all, the 6502 is used in the following products:

	Apple ][, ][e, III
	Comadore pet, Vic 20, vic 64
	Atari 400,800
	OSI computers of various sorts


It only the hacker/hobbiests who have z80 cpm systems.  unfortunately,
they are the ones writing code...   Perhaps things would have come
out differently if there had been a standard operating system for
the 6502 (ala CP/M)...
