I am considering upgrading the fast RAM in my A3000 from the stock 1Meg to 4Meg. The question is Which chips to use?? (No -- I don't mean that!! I got the manual ---) I mean should I use the static col. mode chips or the page mode chips?? What are the performance benefits of the Static col. chips? (is the increased performance significant??) Are there any major limitations if I use the page mode chips?? What "modes" take advantage of the static col. mode chips??
