jupiter@olympus.mlb.fl.us (Kurt R. Hawkes) (10/26/90)
I am just getting back into programming my Amiga. I have the Manx C
compiler and AREXX. I have been using Manx's QuickFix option with
the Z (vi look-a-like) editor. Basically I am looking for something
to replace the Z editor. I know VI and I can use it, but I don't like
it. I do have UEdit, but this editor really lacks in the AREXX area.
I have had no luck writing an AREXX macro to interactivly go through
the error file generated by the compiler. (I am sorry, REXXCOMM is not
an acceptable solution to UEdit's AREXX problems.) Although I do like
UEdit for it's configurability......
Two questions:
1) Has anyone out there in netland written a macro to interactively go
through the error file using AREXX and UEdit??
(if not)
2) Can anyone recomend an editor to use with Manx and AREXX? If you
are using QuickFix with another editor and AREXX, send me the name
of the editor you are using and the AREXX script (if you don't mind,
that is.)
Thanks in advance,
Kurt
