I am trying to complete my MIDI environment on my amiga. I read a number of magazines including Amazing Computing and Electronic Musician but I would still like advice on two things I need. I have an amiga 1000 with hard disk and lots of memory. 1) A good sequencer with at least the following capabilities - piano roll style note editing and quantizing - graphic editing of such things as aftertouch, velocity - MIDI file compatability - some way to connect to music printing such as Deluxe Music - uses amiga voices - would be nice to multitask correctly 2) A Midi access environment - to program MIDI in a higher language like Basic,Pascal,C for algorithmic music experimentation - I have an old AKAI 16bit sampler built before the MIDI sample dump standard, I have a paper description of the system exclusive, an easy way to get this into amiga - a way to do filtering and synthesis on samples any advice about products that satisfy the bill would be appreciated, I just don't have time to keep track of every amiga development myself. If there is interest I will post results to the amiga.tech newsgroup. I do not regularly read the amiga newsgroups, just not enough time.
