[comp.sys.amiga.tech] A2286 while running SETCPU

niall@ut-emx.uucp (Niall Ives Gaffney) (10/31/90)

Recently I have been working on getting my 286 up to par in my Ami 2500.
I was having a problem getting the A2286 to find JANUS on boot so it
could get to its psudo-drive on the Amiga side. I finally got it to
work by calling SETCPU after I binddrivers and pcdisk. Will this hinder
my performance on the AMI (my main interest) as far as leaving things
running on the 68000 board, or does SETCPU move all of these processes
to the 68030 when I call later? And if this does hinder my performance,
what can I do???

Please respond by E-mail and thanks in advance
