Is there a test to verify whether static column ram chips or page mode chips are installed? I understand that under 2.0 the OS checks the first memory bank, of fast ram, and sets itself accordingly, assuming all the rest of memory is the same as what's in the first bank. This brings up two questions: 1- How can I tell what the system thinks is installed? 2- Is there a hardware diagnostic to give the parameters of the installed chips? Thanks in advance, -- John J.
