I have a question concerning the Amiga UNIX systems being produced by Commodore. Here at ISU, I have an account on a network of Apollo DN4000 systems. These systems each have about 8MB of RAM, a 150MB hard drive, and a 19" monochrome display with a resolution of around 1024x800. My question is: could someone supply me with the rough prices of how much it would cost to replace one of these systems with an Amiga UNIX system that has the same features I listed above? In addition to these features, an ethernet controller will also be needed, so add that into the price, too. If possible, please give me institution prices. The reason is that, if ISU can get the systems inexpensively enough, I may be able to convince the person who runs the lab into looking into Amiga systems as replacements for these Apollo systems. -MB-
