a friend told me that he recently heard of a anouncemnet for a new chip (nat'l public radio of all places) about a new low-cost video digitizer chip. I could extract no other details from my friend about this device. 1)did anyone hear of the announcement 2)catch the name of the company producing the chip 3)hear when it should be available OR 4)know if my friend was completely wrong? I thought this would have tremedous application to your average amiga user. (the chip is supposed to be quite inexpensive). thank you, owen white -- -=-*-=-=-*-=-=-*-=-=-*-=-=-*-=-=-*-=-=-*-=-=-*-=-=-*-=-=-*-=-=-*-=- we are godzone children--splendor is all around us -=-*-=-=-*-=-=-*-=-=-*-=-=-*-=-=-*-=-=-*-=-=-*-=-=-*-=-=-*-=-=-*-=-

Could be the new Intel DVI chips (Digital Video Interactive). You might check with your local Intel rep or electronic component distributer for more info. -- --Chuck McManis Sun Microsystems uucp: {anywhere}!sun!cmcmanis BIX: <none> Internet: cmcmanis@Eng.Sun.COM These opinions are my own and no one elses, but you knew that didn't you.
