Howdy, I was wondering if I could get some help. I just spent the last three and a half hours installing and testing gcc (the one based on PDC). For the most part, I was pretty excited. Then I went to compile some of the source examples from the RKM's from a fish disk. Specifically, I was interested in the serial device examples. [I'm taking a computer communications class and we have to write an autobaud detect program. Naturally, I want to do it on my Ami instead of that IBM thingie!] Back to the subject, I think my problem may lie in that the examples tell you what switches to give LC, but I don't have that. Can some kind soul tell me what the command line switches for LC 5.04 do? I would like to be able to translate them into something gcc wants. This specific example is : LC -Lt -catsfq So what does this mean? The RKM only lists a few in the beginning of the book where it talks about porting the examples. Gcc compiles it fine, but the program immediately gurus with #810000009.xxxxxx -> which means exec tried to free mem twice. Where do I go from here? Thanks for any help. Jeff P. -- Jeffrey D.
