[comp.sys.amiga.tech] 68881 vs 68882

Hi all,
I've got an 68020 + 68881 board for my 500, with no on-board RAM, ie
it uses the slow 16-bit RAM of the stock Amiga. I've got two questions about
the 68882. If I were to go out and buy a 68882 with the same clock speed as my
'881, would I be able to plug it into the same socket that the '881 is using
now? How much of a speed up can I expect? Thanks,

PS. I think my '881 is clocked at 12 Mhz currently.
