I am trying to put a Paradise VGA Plus card with my AT Bridgeboard and am testing it with a 1950 monitor. It seems to always come up in mono regardless of the EEPROM or jumper settings. I have tried all the various combinations of video modes ON/OFF in PCPrefs to no avail; always the same result. It comes up mono. The second problem I have is that the 1950 doesn't seem to sync to the card. It looks like I am getting 3 screens on the monitor as if the vertical hold was gone. The VGA Plus is one of the cards listed in the 2088/2286 manual as being tested by Commodore. I have done this installation in another machine and the only differences were that his machine was using one monitor and a switchbox for both sides (Amiga and BB), and he was using a different monitor (I don't remember which monitor he had). His would come up in mono then, if you rebooted the PC side, would come up in color. I can't get it to come up in color, can't get the EEPROMs to hold a change in video mode with the card installed and can't get the 1950 to sync to the card. Is the 1950 monitor the problem? I don't have a different monitor handy that I can test with. Larry -- Larry Cline lcline@sequent.sequent.com lcline@crg8.sequent.com ".sig! Contractors don't need no stinkin' .sig!!!"
