I have a couple of questions concerning Xprzmodem.library and xprkermit.library. I have the docs to both of these, but they are very sketchy. So sketchy in fact that I cannot figure out the actual format for parameter entry. So, I'll set up a scenario and hope that someone who has experience with these help me out. For BOTH, I would like to set them up to accomodate sending and receiving of binary files. I can make zmodem send work fine, but I cannot get send to work at all. I think the examples given in the docs may have typo's. Xprkermit is even tougher. The docs explain each parameter, but there is no example of the format. Additionally, how does one distinguish between send and receive when setting up xprkermit? One last thing. I have a feeling that xprzmodem depends on the ram-disk (namely, t:) in order to perform transfers. Am I correct? After running my bbs, my ram space is very limited and if I'm not careful, I tend to get all kinds of weird errors/crashes during transfers. If t: is indeed used by any of these xpr-protocals, is it possible to reassign t: to say, dh0: (ie would the protocals find this acceptible?)? Thanks -Jim -> ->Disclaimer: I'm not ashamed of what I say. <- <- Sorry if the above disclaimer is too long. __________________________________________________________ | Internet: graham@venus.iucf.indiana.edu | | UUCP: dolmen!graham@iuvax.cs.indiana.edu | | FIDO: Soon! | | BBS: The PORTAL DOLMEN, (812) 334-0418, 24hrs. | |__________________________________________________________|
