[comp.sys.amiga.tech] Mapping bad blocks on harddrive....

rcj2@cbnewsd.att.com (ray.c.jender) (11/27/90)

OK, I have Microbotics Hardframe, Seagate 157N (48meg),
	A2000, 5meg Ram.

I know I have a bad block somewhere on the HD. I begin
getting Read/Write errors. To get around it I have to delete
some files out of my tmp directory to recover good disk space.

Short of getting the Hardframe upgrade that was recently
announced for $49.00 which would map out the bad blocks,
is there anything else I could do? Any freeware or shareware
	that would help? Thanks.
