In a program I am porting, I'd like to turn off the character echo, because the program wants to do it's own echoing. It is a CLI program, and uses the CLI window for its input and output. Ideally, I'd like to turn off character echo if it was called from the AUX: device also. I'm using SAS C 5.10. Please reply by mail, unless it is of general interest.
