I just got a GVP Series II hard drive controller and and am trying to get it working with an Adaptec ST506 to SCSI controller. Has anyone use this combonation or the Adaptec and can help out. I tried changing all the obvoius things like the jumpers and drive numbers and such but I just can't get it to work. It seems to recognize the Adaptec but the GVP software won't let me enter any info about the drive, or format, etc. The software won't even puut any info about the drive in it's windows. The Adaptec light flases for a sec like it's sending the data or something but then the software windows just go blanks. Any ideas?
