I don't know if this group would have anyone who could help me with this but here goes! I am writing an arkanoid type game for the Amiga and am having problems getting the ball motion to be exactly like in the actual arkanoid game. I am using an algorithm whereby the ball, when it hits a block, simply reverses its y-direction and continues in its x-direction until it hits a side wall or the top or bottom. This causes problems when the ball hits a block at and angle as it continues to move through and destroy all blocks that are next to that block. If anyone knows of a surefire and even so-so algorithm for ball motion, please send it to me! I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks. Chris P.S. Thanks go to those who responded to my previous post about scrolling in 512k! -- \ / C r o s s r o a d s C o m m u n i c a t i o n s /\ (602) 941-2005 300|1200 Baud 24 hrs/day / \ hplabs!hp-sdd!crash!xroads!aman
