[comp.sys.amiga.tech] Assempro Quirk

v089pfrb@ubvmsd.cc.buffalo.edu (Jeffrey C Murphy) (12/14/90)

While fiddling around with Assempro's Debugger,I decided to list memory
starting as SSP (which was $c80000).I figured that being that memory was
only being read, nothing should happen. Well, when I first listed the
block, the monitor screen flicked, as if the video source was being inter-
upted. So? Probably as short power interruption. Then I tried to switch from
a disassembled listing to a hex dump and... blank, blink, blink... guru.
I rebooted and tried it again and got the exact same results. Just out of
curiousity: Does anyone know why this happens?
