Hi. I am having problems opening a CLI with a close button that works. Using the command Ashell con:0/100/600/100/Ashell1/Close/Size gives me a shell window with all the right attributes (size gadget, close gadget and the right title.) It works as a normal CLI until I click on the close gadget at which point it jams - and starts eating up CPU time. (Well, XOPER tells me it uses up CPU time..) I have been using a review Amiga 3000 for a while and have to give it back soon - but I want to keep the closable CLIs. Can anyone help me please? (P.S. THis is on an Amiga 500+590+2 megs running Jazzbench and Conman1.3) (P.P.S. Anyone want to swap QRT files? DKB?) -- ** Official Signature for Sleeping Beagle (aka Thomas Farmer)! ** Mail : sbeagle@kennels.actrix.gen.nz Thomas.Farmer@bbs.actrix.gen.nz ** ** Disclaimers are for sick societies with too many lawyers.

Should be okay on your A500, too. The close gadget works quite reliably for me. The only time I have any trouble is if I've got a program that keeps a hold of the WShell window.
