I have an Amiga 2000 HD with an AT Bridgecard (A2286). I frequently get the message "Janus setup failure - Amouse process" when I first boot up. When this error occurs, the bridgecard cannot be used, and I have to re-boot. My dealer suggested adding a "wait" command in the system-startup file, thinking that the Amouse process might not be completely initialized before something else tried to access it. This did not fix the problem, so the entire bridgecard was replaced. The new bridgecard has the same problem. There have been a couple of other problems with the bridgecard that have occurred less frequently. I have had two instances where the PC screen did not appear. Instead, I got a black-and-white checkerboard pattern. A couple of times, I've also gotten memory configuration error messages. I would appreciate hearing from others who have had similar problems with the A2286. Is there another fix, or should I replace the bridgecard again?
