Does anyone have any information on interfacing a Pioneer HOME Laser disk unit
to the amiga via RS232. (i.e. CLD3080,2080,1080). I have heard of a black
box that will convert the RS232 signals into something the player sees. I am
interested in write a arexx type program to control such players and
hopefully, (not getting hopes up). be able to run it through AmigaVision.
Info info on such a black box would be greatly appreciated.

help! my serial port on the amiga doesnt work. i dont know whats wrong with it.
with computer off and modem is on, modem is fine.
with computer on and modem is on, modem SND light is on continuously.
since i live in a small town in the middle of know where, can someone
tell me what could be wrong and how i can go around fixing the problem myself.
modem is fine since it works on another amiga.
setup: amiga 500
1 meg. total 512k internal board by supra corp.
2 disk drives (1 internal, 1 external)
