I am having some trouble with windows under 2.0 (v37). My application has carved up a custom screen into several borderless windows in seamless patchwork style. The user is unaware that the screen has multiple windows, the apparent (or should I say "intended") effect is that some regions of the screen (borderless windows)change very rapidly. The problem I'm experiencing is that when the user selects a gadget on one of the windows, other windows get corrupted in the window title/drag-bar region. I guess I'm a little surprised that Intuition is playing with the title/drag-bar, since I thought a borderless window weren't suppose to have one. I've tried calling functions like ShowTitle( w, 0) to turn the title line off, and RedrawWindowFrame() in an effort to eliminate this corruption. Obvioulsy I'm on the wrong track. My windows have no title, nor any system gadgets (close-box, drag attribute, resizing, etc.) I'm using SMART_REFRESH. Q: can I prevent title-bar corruption on Borderless windows? Q: is there a way to prevent the current active window from becoming deselected? Please respond via email. Thanks in advance. -Don deCourcelle att!mtqua!dad (908) 957-3631
