AREA:UUCP_TECH I've had the hardframe for a number of years now and have always used the CLI format quick uption with no problems. By the way, did you really type in {QUICK} ? The correct way of course is not to have the brackets around quick. The only thing I can think of why you'ld get an error without using the quick option is if you specified more sectors per trask than is actually allowed. Did you have to set your parameters manually or was the software able to get it from the drive? If it is a blocks per track problem, it would show itself pretty quick. I made that mistake once and gradually I found that some of my commands in my c: directory wouldn't work anymore. By typing them to the screen I actually saw part of my resume tacked onto the end of my dir command!! I had set too may blocks per track and I guess some of my blocks overlapped somewhat. Well, hope this helps... -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- AFIT Amiga Users BBS/UFGateway |Eric Sanders - via FidoNet node 1:110/300 1:110/300 Dayton, Ohio |UUCP: afitamy!210!Eric.Sanders (513)-252-7681 |ARPA: Eric.Sanders@f210.n110.z1.FIDONET.ORG ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
