I am not a ProComm user and am not familiar with the default settings in that program. For starters you should check that you are using 8 data bits, no parity, and 1 stop bit to communicate with BIONET. I do know that some BIONET users use ProComm so I hope that one of them can come to your assistance on this. Despite its plain interface I have used Kermit to contact BIONET from all regions of the country while on the road and have rarely run into problems with it. BIONET distributes Kermit for free to BIONET users. Dave -------
