Dr Dave Smith, of Rockwell, will be here next week [7-8/Nov], to deliver two talks: 1. At 11am-1pm Monday, in Nursing 104: He will speak in my csc2502 class on "Control of Inference" (both his work, and others). Please feel free to attend. 2. At 2pm Tuesday, in MP 134: He will present an AI Seminar on "A Decision-Theoretic Approach to the Control of Planning Search". He will be in the conference room from 3pm on, for questions, etc. [Neat stuff!] I'll be his host.
