[comp.sys.handhelds] Symbolic Matrices HP28s

andrew@isgtec.UUCP (Andrew) (11/13/89)

Regarding doing symbolic matrix operations: there is a book
for the HP 28s that has already has these programs working.

UGH!!!
Sorry but I forget which one it is. (Maybe "Customize your 28s"???)

Sigh, let me know if no one else can tell you which book it is, and I will
dig up the name for you. (Talk to the people at EDUCALC in California.)

Good luck.

The book you want is HP-28 Insights: Principles and Programming of the
HP-28C/S, by William C. Wickes. Unfortunately the only symbolic array
functions in it are: SADD, SSUB, SMS, and SMUL. No dot or cross
products, though the base programs that these functions call should
make it fairly easy to write those if you need them.

I am not affiliated in any way with the author or publisher of the
book, but as an end user, I highly recommend it!

The book in question is "HP-28 Insights", by William C. Wickes (a really
splendid fellow).
