Regarding doing symbolic matrix operations: there is a book for the HP 28s that has already has these programs working. UGH!!! Sorry but I forget which one it is. (Maybe "Customize your 28s"???) Sigh, let me know if no one else can tell you which book it is, and I will dig up the name for you. (Talk to the people at EDUCALC in California.) Good luck. -- Andrew MacLean ...uunet!mnetor!censor!isgtec!andrew Success is a journey, not an adventure! ...utzoo!censor!isgtec!andrew ISG Technologies Inc. 3030 Orlando Dr. Mississauga. Ont. Can. The book you want is HP-28 Insights: Principles and Programming of the HP-28C/S, by William C. Wickes. Unfortunately the only symbolic array functions in it are: SADD, SSUB, SMS, and SMUL. No dot or cross products, though the base programs that these functions call should make it fairly easy to write those if you need them. Vaughan I am not affiliated in any way with the author or publisher of the book, but as an end user, I highly recommend it! -- Vaughan Turner BITNET: mcswvt@nmsuvm1.bitnet Box 3AT Computer Center INTERNET: vturner@dante.nmsu.edu Las Cruces, NM 88001
