[comp.sys.handhelds] Z88 stuff

In answer to somebodies question: There is a Z80 disassembler written
in BASIC for the Z88 on some of the Z88 BBS's (I have a backup saved
on a vax up here, but it is in with a full file dump -- ANYBODY HAVE
KERMIT YET?) At least one place that has it (and has phone#s for
other places, and gives you extra sign on time if you join the Z88
discussion) is at 703 968-9438 (Vienna, VA) though I haven't called it
in a month or so. They were even having a programming contest back
then.
Does anybody know of a supplier for the ZIF-socket EPROM cards
mentioned in the Z88 tech notes? Sharps doesn't list them in their
catalog...
Has anyone thought about upping the clock speed? It would
confuse the UART function of the PLD, but would the LCD handle it? Z80
chips exist at over twice the speed the Z88 is running it...
Also, I've heard mention of a musical instrument program for
the Z88. Anyone have pointers to it? Likewise, is their a US supplier
for the cassette interface that is listed in the British Z88 magazine?
Send me email and I'll summarize (besides, I read email daily
but rrn is a pain to read on an 8 line screen...)
