(Sorry if this has been discussed in the past, but I haven't had access to the net for a while) I saw a reference to a new HP calculator coming out later this year. Are there any firm specs on it? Is it a substantiated rumor? Any information would be GREATLY appreciated. A hopeless techno-weenie, Ken Rawlings

Does anyone have any more information on the upcoming calculator from HP? I am about to buy a 28s, but should I wait? What is the new one going to feature that the 28s doesn't have? And about how long until this new one will be released? -- /*********/ Paul Caskey pcaskey@ariel.unm.edu Only lawyers represent anyone's ideas but their own. /*********/

In fact, the Associated Student Bookstore up here at Chico State has discontinued ordering the 41's in anticipation of the new calculator. Other than that, I have no other information, only the the insiders know and, so far, they're keeping their mouths shut (thereby DRIVING ME MAD WITH ANTICIPATION!!!!). I would say wait for it, see what it has, if you like it, buy it, and forget the HP28s. Good luck, D. Harris dharris@csuchico.edu probably be changing to: rodmur@csuchico.edu if one doesn't work try the other. P.S. If anybody has any other updates for the new calculator, please feel free to tell us; especially if your an HP executive.
