I'm not so sure anything but the simplest programs will convert to the HP48SX without some modification: some functions, though they seem to do the same thing as the 28S, return different arguments. The one that comes to mind is RCLF. If I recall (no pun intended, of course) correctly, this returns _two_ 64-bit binary object in a list, whereas the 28S only returned a single 64-bit number. No, I can't think of any others off-hand, but I don't think a 28S --> 48SX conversion will be trivial. BTW: Anyone notice that the TRACE command of the 28S is missing in the 48SX? Or have I just overlooked it? TRACE came in handy while debugging programs. And, yes, I also used it to help me balance my checkbook.... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Richard Steele | INTERNET : steele@en.ecn.purdue.edu Electrical Engineering | BITNET : steele%ea.ecn.purdue.edu@purccvm Purdue University | UUCP : {purdue, pur-ee}!en.ecn.purdue.edu!steele ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Disclaimer: I'm just an undergrad, so I really don't know what I'm talking about...
